The Accountant at Vaimo provides efficient and proactive accounting support to the company. The Accountant will be involved in foreign accounting issues with great opportunities to grow work-wise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately and efficiently process daily accounting activities for international companies

• External invoicing of clients

• Prepare journal entries, manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, prepaid expenses, accruals, vacation liabilities

• Handle bank payments and employee expense reports

• Manage assets and depreciation

• Prepare financial statements and perform accounts reconciliation

• Assist in audit preparation and support audit processes

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of experience in the accounting/finance department is a must

• Experience with IFRS - a big plus

• English: Upper-intermediate

• Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting

• Able to work independently and reliably, take the initiative, troubleshoot, and be solution-oriented

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through

• Sense of teamwork, community, humor, and integrity
