As a Project Manager at Vaimo, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to cultivate success in Digital Commerce. This is a versatile responsibility that calls for inclusive leadership, a thorough approach to structure, and the insight to foster the most effective solutions for our Clients.

You will be responsible for guiding projects from inception to completion, building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will work in partnership with our Clients, Vaimo Leadership, and Development Teams to ensure meaningful outcomes and generate lasting value for Vaimo and our Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Digital Commerce projects to ensure they stay on track, within scope, and aligned with budget goals.

• Serve as a Product Owner within a Scrum or Kanban development framework.

• Maintain a clear Product Backlog and facilitate collaborative Sprint and Release planning.

• Partner with Development Teams and Customers to design project roadmaps, ensuring they are realized through consistent communication and support.

• Act as a People Lead for the Development Team, supporting their workflow and encouraging high-quality performance.

• Practice proactive Risk Management to safeguard project health.

• Contribute to design workshops alongside internal Design/UX teams and customers.

• Support hosting and development teams in the setup and maintenance of staging and production environments.

• Unite and guide remote, global, and collocated multinational teams toward shared goals.

• Align stakeholder expectations with project milestones to ensure delivery satisfaction.

• Inspire teams, creating an environment that facilitates the growth and success of every member.

Skills & Requirements:

• Proven experience (ideally 7+ years) managing Web or Software development projects, with a focus on eCommerce or Digital Commerce.

• Proficiency in English and Dutch, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with our diverse teams and clients.

• A comprehensive understanding of current digital technologies and industry best practices.

• Practical knowledge of software development processes or quality assurance.

• Adaptability in agile methods, such as Scrum, Kanban, and User stories.

• Strong navigational skills within JIRA.

• Empathetic communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences, including customers and executives.

• The resilience to handle multiple projects and meet milestones in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Highly Valued (Nice to have):

• Experience serving as a Product Owner in a Scrum process.

• Familiarity with Adobe/Magento projects.

• Educational background in Information Technology, Informatics, or Business.

• Experience collaborating with remote or offshore development teams.
