Senior People Business Partner (Finland)
We’re looking for a Senior People Business Partner to join Vaimo’s dynamic Delivery organisation in the Nordics.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our General Manager in Oulu to co-lead the Delivery function — supporting teams across Finland, Sweden, Norway, Poland, and Ukraine.
As a senior member of our People team, you will play a dual role:
- Strategic Partner — driving business-focused people initiatives across the Nordics Delivery organisation.
- Local HR Lead for Finland — ensuring compliance with Finnish labour legislation and providing hands-on support to our local teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnering
- Partner with the General Manager to drive the Nordics Delivery strategy through people and culture initiatives.
- Collaborate with leaders to align workforce planning, performance, and engagement with business priorities.
- Use data and analytics to deliver insights that guide leadership decisions and enhance organisational effectiveness.
Talent & Performance
- Support managers with talent planning, recruitment needs, and succession pipelines across the region.
- Lead performance management processes — from setting clear goals and expectations to facilitating reviews and growth discussions.
- Promote learning, career development, and leadership enablement within the Delivery teams.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture that reflects Vaimo’s values.
- Lead initiatives to strengthen engagement and team connection across multiple geographies.
- Partner with leaders to celebrate success, drive recognition, and promote work-life balance.
Local HR Leadership (Finland)
- Act as the HR Lead for Finland, ensuring compliance with Finnish labour laws and employment regulations.
- Advise managers on employee relations, policies, and HR best practices.
- Collaborate with global HR Leads to ensure consistent policy implementation and local alignment.
Change & Transformation
- Support ongoing transformation projects within Delivery by guiding leaders and teams through change.
- Drive clear communication and smooth transitions across all affected markets.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in HR or People Business Partner roles, ideally within international or tech-driven environments.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leaders as a strategic advisor.
- Strong understanding of Nordic labour markets, with deep expertise in Finnish employment legislation.
- Experience supporting teams across multiple countries or remote setups.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret people data and drive evidence-based decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and a hands-on, collaborative approach.
